From humble beginnings,our sports goods store was founded by the partners cum brothers G.Balasubramanian & G.Ramesh in the year 1997, after the graduation, in the name of NEW OLYMPIA SPORTS. Through sheer hard work,passion for the business,willingness to learn from the trade and customer loyalty ,we developed and expanded the store to a bigger size .In the year 2004,realising the need for a good space & more display of products,we shifted to another place and changed our business name to SPORTUS which has now become the favourite of many customers.The bigger space brought in value addition & larger footfalls and due to the quality of our products, we were able to attract major corporates, educational institutions and sports clubs in our clients list.Due to the cricketing background that we had, we concentrated more on cricket and Cricket as a sport  became the core product of our store.India being the major hub for cricket equipment manufacture made us work our way to enter the foreign markets where cricket products are very expensive and thus we started the exports in the year 2010. With the support of big Indian and International cricket Brands, we were able to steadily rise our cricket market share both in the domestic & international market.
